    START WHEN PLAYER VISIBILITY CROSSES

This field is used to apply an additional viewability condition to the 'Autoplay when in view' option selected in the previous 'DESKTOP START' and/or 'MOBILE START' fields. For example: If the player is located at the bottom of a web page, and requires the viewer to scroll down to view it, this field can be used to define how much of the player needs to be in view to trigger the autostart option.

Note: This field is an additional condition that is applied to the player if the previous 'DESKTOP START' and/or 'MOBILE START' fields are set to 'Autoplay when in view'.

Click and drag the value slider or click up/down on the arrow buttons to set a value from 1% to 50% to define how much of the player must be displayed in the browser viewport to start the automatic playback.

Note: By default, this field is set to 20%.

    PAUSE WHEN OUT OF VIEW

This field is used to control if the playback will pause or continue when the player is no longer in view in the browser view port. For example: If your player has been set to autostart when 40% of the player is displayed in the in the browser view port, and the viewer has scrolled away from the player again, you can set the player to pause when less than 40% of it is in view.

Click on this field and apply the required option from the drop down list according to the following options:

    • Always - Selecting this option will pause the player from continuing its playback if the player is completely no longer in-view of the browser view port.

Note: If the previous 'DESKTOP START' and/or 'MOBILE START' fields are set to 'Autoplay when in view', the player will pause from continuing its playback if the player is no longer in-view according to the percent defined in the 'START WHEN PLAYER VISIBILITY CROSSES' field.

    • If still muted - Selecting this option will pause the player from continuing it's playback only if the volume on the player has been set to zero (0) or muted.
    • Never (Default) - Selecting this option will allow the player to continue it's playback even if the player is no longer in view of the browser view port.
    MOBILE AUTOPLAY ON WIFI ONLY

Selecting this slider will allow the player to automatically start ad/video playback on mobile devices only when the device is connected to the internet using a WiFi connection.

Note: This option will only apply if the 'MOBILE START' has been set to any type of Autoplay or 'Same as desktop'.

Note: For further details, please see Mobile Muted Autoplay Options.

    LIGHTBOX ON CLICK (DESKTOP ONLY)

Selecting this slider will allow the player to automatically open in the lightbox mode on desktop if a viewer clicks anywhere in the video area.

FULLSCREEN ON  FIRST UNMUTE / FULLSCREEN ON START (MOBILE ONLY)

Selecting this slider will allow the player to automatically switch to fullscreen mode if a viewer un-mutes a player on a mobile device for the first time.

Note: If the previous 'MOBILE START' field is set to 'Click', the player will switch to fullscreen mode if a viewer clicks on it to start the playback.

Note: For further details, please see Mobile Muted Autoplay Options.

    SOUND

Use this field to define the sound behavior of the player. Click this field and select the required option from the drop down menu according to the following options:

    • Muted - When the player begins its playback the sound of the content video and ads (if defined) will be muted.
    • Normal - When the player begins its playback the sound of the content video and ads (if defined) will be 100% (full volume) or in accordance with the definition set in the 'Initial volume' field (see below).
    • Mouseover - When the player begins its playback the sound of the content video and ads (if defined) will only be heard if the mouse cursor is located within the player window. After the initial placement of the cursor within the player video, the volume will remain active.
    • Mouseover/off - When the player begins its playback the sound of the content video and ads (if defined) will only be heard if the mouse cursor is located within the player window. Each time the mouse cursor is placed outside the player window, the sound will revert back to muted mode.

Note: This field will not affect Mobile playback as it only supports muted players.

INITIAL VOLUME Click and drag the value slider or enter a value from 0.0 to 1.0 to define the Player's initial load volume. 0=Muted, 1=Maximum volume.
    VIDEOS TO PLAY

This field defines how many content videos will be shown consecutively until the player stops for viewer interaction. Enter the maximum number of videos that will be played back until the player stops.

Note: The purpose of this field is to prevent the player from going through an endless playlist if the viewer forgets to stop.

    VIDEOS TO REQUEST

This field is used to limit the number of content videos that will playback in the player.

Click and drag the value slider or enter a number between 1 to 50 to define how many content videos you would like the player to playback from the assigned playlist.

For example: If you have assigned this player a playlist that contains 10 videos, by entering 3 in this field, this will limit the number of videos shown in this player to the first 3 videos from that playlist.

Important: When a Carousel is applied to the player, the number of videos displayed in the Carousel is also controlled by this field. It is recommended to set this field to 20+ if you are using a related Carousel.

Note: the default of this field is 1 video. If you have an assigned playlist with more than one video make sure to modify the setting of this field accordingly.

    AUTO-RESOLUTION TOP LIMIT

This field is used to limit the player from loading high-resolution video segments when streaming with adaptive bitrate.

For example: You can limit the player to a maximum quality if 480p video if you know that the internet connection is slow and you want to prevent player buffering time that will affect your viewers' experience.

Click on this field and select the maximum resolution limit from the drop down list according to the following options:

    • Unlimited - The player can load 1080p or higher resolution files when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    • 720p - The player can load resolution files up to 720p when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    • 540p - The player can load resolution files up to 540p when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    • 480p - The player can load resolution files up to 480p when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    • 360p - The player can load resolution files up to 360p when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    • 240p - The player can load resolution files up to 240p when serving an adaptive bitrate video.
    RANDOMIZE VIDEOS

Selecting this slider will play the assigned playlist videos in a shuffled order.

Note: This option only randomizes the number of videos defined by the 'Videos to request' field. For example: If your playlist has 10 videos and the 'Videos to request' field is set to 5, then only the first 5 videos will be randomized and not the entire playlist.

  6. Click on 'SAVE'. You playback settings are saved and applied to this player.
