How to Define Preselected Filters

Preselected Filters allow you to set default values for your report's filter fields. This makes it easier to simply view a report with your preset definitions instantly without the need to enter your Company or Player name/id each time.

Note: Preselected Filters are mainly used with Scheduled reports to determine the default filter values. For more details, please refer to What are Scheduled Reports?


To define preselected filters, perform the following steps:

  1. Access the report create page by either Creating a new report or Editing an existing one.

  2. Go to the 'FILTERS' tab. The 'FILTERS' tab is displayed.

  3. Click on 'Preselect filters' slider to activate this option.

  4. Apply the required fields according to the following table:

    Field Name Description
    COMPANY

    Enter the name of the required company to search and select it. 

    Note: This field will be set by default to the Company that owns your user.

    With Affiliates Optional: Click on this slider to include/exclude the report data from your company's affiliates into your report.
    POINT OF VIEW

    Select the point of view according to the following options:

    • Publisher - The report will display data that is relevant from a Publisher's perspective.
    • Content owner - The report will display data that is relevant from a Content Owner's perspective.
    • Seller - The report will display data that is relevant from a Content Owner seller's perspective.
    • Advertiser - The report will display data that is relevant from an Advertiser's perspective.

      Note: The Point of View setting is used to change the view perspective on your data according to the required business identity, such as Content Owner, Publisher, Seller, and Advertiser.
    ADDITIONAL FILTERS

    Optional: Select one or more additional filters for your report to receive their report data according to the following options:

    • Domain - Selecting this option will add a secondary domain filter allowing you to select a domain name that will focus your report data.
    • Country code - Selecting this option will add a secondary country code filter allowing you to select a country code that will focus your report data.
    • Video - Selecting this option will add a secondary video filter allowing you to select a video name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Playlist - Selecting this option will add a secondary playlist filter allowing you to select a playlist name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Ad Campaign - Selecting this option will add a secondary ad campaign filter allowing you to select an ad campaign name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Ad Campaign Owner - Selecting this option will add a secondary ad campaign owner filter allowing you to select an ad campaign owner name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Ad Set - Selecting this option will add a secondary ad set filter allowing you to select an ad set name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Ad Engine - Selecting this option will add a secondary ad engine filter allowing you to select an ad engine name that will focus your report data.
    • Player - Selecting this option will add a secondary player filter allowing you to select a player name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • Player type -  Selecting this option will add a secondary player type filter allowing you to select a player type name that will focus your report data.
    • Macros - Selecting this option will add a secondary macro filter allowing you to select a macro name that will focus your report data.
    • Player with Macros - Selecting this option will add a secondary player with macros filter allowing you to select a player with macros name or ID that will focus your report data.
    • MOAT Content Type - Selecting this option will add a secondary MOAT content type filter allowing you to select a MOAT content type name that will focus your report data.

      Then, set a value for each additional filter field by entering its name and selecting the relevant option from the drop-down menu.

      Note: You can select up to five additional filters together.

      Note: This will allow you to narrow your report scope even more in addition to of your initial company filter.

    DATE RANGE

    Select the date range for your report data representation according to the following options:

    • Today - Allows you to filter data for a period from the beginning till the current time of the day.
    • Yesterday - Allows you to filter data for the previous day.
    • This Week - Allows you to filter data for a period from the beginning of the current week up to the current moment.
    • Last 24 hours - Allows you to filter data for the last 24 hours.
    • Last 48 hours - Allows you to filter data for the last 48 hours.
    • Last 7 days - Allows you to filter data for the last 7 days.
    • Last 14 days - Allows you to filter data for the last 14 days.
    • Current month - Allows you to filter data for a period from the beginning of the current month up to the current moment.
    • Previous month - Allows you to filter data for a previous month.
    • Quarter to Date - Allows you to filter data for a period from the beginning till the current moment of the current quarter.
    • Previous quarter - Allows you to filter data for a quarter that precedes the current one.
    • Year to Date - Allows you to filter data for a period from the beginning till the current moment of the current year.
     Time Zone  Select the required time zone.


  5. Click on one of the following options to save your report:
    • SAVE - Selecting this option will save your report and remain in the report edit mode.
    • SAVE AS NEW REPORT - Selecting this option will save the report as a separate one and redirect you to the 'MANAGE REPORTS' screen.
    • SAVE & RUN - Selecting this option will save the report and redirect you to the run report screen.
