    • Autoplay ad only - Selecting this option will cause the player to playback a pre-roll only (if ads are defined), and wait for the viewer's interaction with the player to continue playing any content videos.

Note: The 'Autoplay ad only' option is the use case that will apply to mobile devices when the Mobile Ad Autoplay functionality is activated, but this is due to the mobile device operating system limitations and not our initial intent. Therefore, keep in mind that you might be setting up this Player for both Desktop and Mobile devices, so please select the experience that best suits your viewers.

    Autoplay when in view

This field is used to apply an additional viewability condition to the autostart options selected in the previous 'Desktop start' and 'Mobile start' fields. For example: If the player is located at the bottom of a web page, and requires the viewer to scroll down to view it, this field can be used to define how much of the player needs to be in view to trigger the autostart option.

Note: This field is an additional condition that is applied to the player if the previous  'Desktop start' and/or 'Mobile start' fields are set to 'Autoplay' or 'Autoplay ad only'.

    • Always - When selected, the player will automatically start the playback (in accordance with the selection in the 'Desktop start' and 'Mobile start' fields even if the player is hidden from the viewer's view within the browser.

    • 25% - When selected, the player will only start the automatic playback if at least 25% of the player is displayed in the browser view port.
    • 20% - When selected, the player will only start the automatic playback if at least 20% of the player is displayed in the browser view port.
    • 10% - When selected, the player will only start the automatic playback if at least 10% of the player is displayed in the browser view port.

Note: If using a player tag type containing an iframe, autoplay when-in-view will not work. For autoplay-in-view to work successfully, the player must be directly embedded into the page.

    Pause when out of view

This field is used to control if the player will pause or continue playback after the initial autostart option has begun when an In-View condition is applied. For example: If you your player has been set to autostart when 50% of the player is displayed in the in the browser view port, and the viewer has scrolled away from the player again you can set the player to pause when it's not In-View any longer.

Click on this field and apply the required option from the drop down list according to the following options:
