The VPAID Revenue Report displays revenue for all players selected as VPAID.
Adjusting the VPAID Revenue Report Report
To adjust the VPAID Revenue Report, perform the following steps:
- Log in to the Portal by clicking here.
- Click on 'Analyze'. The Analyze page is displayed.
- Select the 'Revenue' and select 'VPAID Revenue Report'. The VPAID Revenue Report page is displayed.
- Enter a Company name in the Filter field. When typing, the field will autocomplete and display a list of Companies in the drop down menu you can choose from. This will define the data presented to the scope of the selected Company.
- Click on the calendar icon to select a Date Range to display.
- Click on the globe icon to select a Timezone to display.
Understanding the VPAID Revenue Report
Revenue by Unit
The name of the Player.
The total number of times a page made an attempt to load a player.
|Ratio Player Displays to Player Impressions
||The percentage of total impressions of the player reaching a displayed state.|
|Ad Requests||The total number of Ad Requests made within a specific Player by a specific Ad Campaign|
|Fill Rate||The percentage of times an Ad Engine Returned a response to every Request in the Player.|
|Ad Fallback Rate||The total number of times that a Fallback ad was used for a specific site
Note: The Fallback Ad is configured during the Player and Ad setup.
|Ad Request Rate: Requests to Player Impressions
The ratio of times, denoted as a decimal, made within a single Player the number of times the Player made a request to an Ad per singular Player Impression.
The total number of ads that initiated within the player.
Note: This can also be seen as Ad Views: 0% Completion.
|Ad View Rate||
The average % of times the ad successfully started for every 1 player impression.
Note: Ad View Rate = Ad Views / Player Impression
The total number of times a user clicked within an ad, resulting with a clickthrough to an external site from a specific site served.
|Ad Click Rate||The percentage of Ad Clicks over the total number of Ad Starts for a specific site served.|
|Overall Ad Clicks||
The total number of times an interaction was made by the user while the ad was in play.
Note: Overall Ad Clicks include mouseovers, hovering, play/pause, etc.
|Overall Ad Click Rate||The percentage of Overall Clicks over the total number of Ad Starts|
The CPM (cost per thousand impressions) cost to the client for all media content played within a specific Player.
Note: This field is the Media CPM set within the Player Settings.
|Media Revenue||The revenue generated by the player|
|Ad Revenue per Thousand Player Impressions|| The total revenue generated by ads per player impression.
Note: (Estimated Revenue/Impressions)*1000
|Ad Revenue||The approximated total revenue per impression, based on the Ad Revenue and the Media Cost.|
|Expected Profit Per Mile|| The actual profit of the player after subtracting the Media Cost from Ad Revenue profits.
