How to Add a Video's Description/Transcript to Your Post using the CMS Plugin

You can add a video's description or transcript to your post from the Video Details area.

 Note: This option is not available in the Chrome Extension version of the Video Plugin.

 

 

Add a Video Description to Post

To add a transcript to your post from the Video Match area, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the CMS Video Plugin. After entering your post, the Plugin will present you with relevant videos.



  2. Click on a video. The video details are displayed in the Search screen.



  3. Click on the 'Description' tab in the video details area. The description for the video is displayed below.

  4. Click on one of the following options:
    • Copy - Selecting this option will copy the description to your clipboard.
    • Add to Post - Selecting this option will add the description directly to your post.

    Note: The 'Copy' and 'Add to Post' actions are context sensitive to the selected tab above (either the Description or the Transcript). Make sure you select the correct tab first.

 

 

  

Add a Video Transcript to Post

To add a transcript to your post from the Search Results screen, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the CMS Video Plugin. After entering your post, the Plugin will present you with relevant videos.



  2. Click on a video. The video details are displayed in the Search screen.



  3. Optional: You can activate the transcript filter to see only videos that have a transcript.

  4. Click on the 'Transcript' tab in the video details area. The description for the video is displayed below.

  5. Click on one of the following options:
    • Copy - Selecting this option will copy the transcript to your clipboard.
    • Add to Post - Selecting this option will add the transcript directly to your post.

    Note: The 'Copy' and 'Add to Post' actions are context sensitive to the selected tab above (either the Description or the Transcript). Make sure you select the correct tab first.
