Preroll Banner Integration Guide

The Preroll Banner integration is a display ad format introduced to allow Video SSP to serve video ads into in-banner placements without the use of the ONE Video AdPlayer integration.

Preroll banner ads are integrated with our standard VPAID ad client, and leverages the same workflow as a standard VAST+VPAID video tag.

Preroll-banner ads provide less configurations, but more options. Preroll banner ads keep all the functionalities like set size, start mute, set default html (renamed to passback tag), and they also takes a video URL to show after the preroll ads. And the only configuration needed is the ONE Video inventory source or marketplace connection tag.

Include the following JavaScript tag on your web page to load the Preroll Banner ad unit.

window.adaptv_prbanner_width = 300; // Optional, if not specified, default width is 300px
window.adaptv_prbanner_height = 250; // Optional, if not specified, default height is 250px
window.adaptv_prbanner_adurl = '//'; // Required, use the ad-tag downloaded from console
window.adaptv_prbanner_videourl = '//'; // Optional, the video plays after the preroll ad
window.adaptv_prbanner_passbacktag = '<div>Place banner passback tag here!</div>'; // Optional, passback HTML tag if the preroll ads fail to play
window.adaptv_prbanner_startmuted = true; // Optional, if not specified, default to false
<script src="//"></script>
